How to Apply

Applications for the 2014-15 school year are due on September 23rd. Late applications will be considered if space is available.

The Saturday Program accepts students from New York City Public High Schools, grades 9-12. (Recent graduates and students of GED or alternative programs may be considered -- please contact us.)

Whether students have prior art experience or want to explore something new, Saturday Program accommodates both with individual support & intensive studio time.

• A written application can be mailed or dropped off
• Copies of art work can be attached, but are optional
• Students in grades 9-12 may apply to Drawing, Painting, Graphic
   Design, Sculpture, Sound Composition or Architecture.
• Students who’ve attended the Saturday Program must re-apply each
   September but admission is guaranteed as space permits.

High school seniors (12th grade) are eligible for the Portfolio Preparation Class. This year-long (2 semester) studio course is designed to prepare for admission to Art and Architecture colleges.
Portfolio Prep admissions is closed for the rest of the 2013-2014 Academic Year.
Students interested in applying to the Portfolio Preparation Class for 2014-13 must attend an informal work review on Saturday, October 4, 2014.
