How to Apply

Eligibility

The Saturday Program accepts students from New York City Public High Schools, grades 9-12. (Recent graduates, GED or alternative programs may be considered - contact us)

Beginners and Advanced Students Whether students have art experience or want to explore something new, Saturday Program accommodates both with individual support & intensive studio time.

Students in grades 9-12 may apply to Drawing, Painting, Graphic Design, Sculpture, Sound Composition or Architecture. A written application can be mailed or dropped off (copies of art work can be attached- but it’s optional ) (Students who’ve attended the Saturday Program must re-apply each September but admissions is guaranteed as space permits.)

Seniors (12th grade) are eligible for the 2 semester Portfolio Preparation Class. This studio course is designed to prepare for admission to Art and Architecture colleges. Applicants to Portfolio Prep must attend an informal work review the 1st Saturday of October.
